Bass Fishing Secrets Of Pro Bass Fishermen Remain A MysteryBy: styles98, Posted On: 2007-10-04

When watching fishing tournaments on television many would-be professional anglers want to know the bass fishing secrets used by those who are paid to fish. From the time a person latches onto a largemouth lunker, they are hooked, unlike the ones that they believe are passing up their offering, because they don't know the bass fishing secrets they need to consistently land the big ones.

The reality is, there really aren't any deep dark bass fish! ing secrets, it is knowing and using the four rights of fishing that separate the professionals from the weekend wannabes. The first thing bass-catcher hopefuls need to know is the habits of the fish they are trying to catch. Knowing their habitat and meal times, plus the type of food they are probably looking for at a given time of day is one of the bass fishing secrets that help pile the pounds onto the daily catch.

Trees, docks, creeks and channels all are good hiding places for bass, and fishing all angles of these areas can lure the fish out of hiding. Once the likes and dislikes of the bass are understood, there are four things that have to be right in order to become a successful bass angler. Knowing a few bass fishing secrets will help land more fish, but it will take lots of fishing practice to join the pro tour.

Four Rights Of Successful Bass Fishing

While some may consider these right as no-brainers, thinking back on the last few times the ba! ss were left in the water at the end of the day, try to rememb! er which of these items were ignored. The right bait, presented in the right manner, in the right location at the right time of day are essentially all the bass fishing secrets needed. Of course, flipping and working the bait will play into attracting the big fish, but no matter how well you work the bait, if the four rights of bass fishing are wrong, the fish won't leave the water.

Many believe the spinner baits are the gold standard for bass fishing and they will work well in many locations, on the lake, in rivers and streams, but there have been some large fish pulled in with fly equipment and live bait as well. Crank baits work for many anglers, but regardless of the bait, if the water isn't right and the bait is in the wrong area of the lake, river or stream all the bass fishing secrets in the world will not help the fish find a new home.

New York City Bachelorette Limousine PartiesBy: temp, Posted On: 2007-10-03

Bachelorette limousine parties in New York City are readily available to anyone that wants them and indeed there are so many requests each year for them that the industry is steadily growing as more and more people start trying them out, enjoying them and then telling their friends about them as well. One of the interesting things about that is that very few women actually think about how a limousine might be able to figure into their bachelorette party and therefore end up missing a chance! to have a really good time. What can a New York City bachelorette limousine party do for you? Well, listed below are just some of the things you can get with a limo party.

Comfort: Of course, one of the biggest reasons that people want to have bachelorette parties is it allows them to go ahead and comfortably ease themselves into the lives that they are going to be sharing with their partner and indeed from a symbolic point of view there are very few things that are as comfortable as a limousine. Limousines are the height of luxury and therefore provide all the comfort that you could ever want. This comfort comes not only in the idea of the luxurious interior of the limousine, but also the safety of its walls and the ease with which you can travel around the city without having to worry about driving the vehicle yourself.

Diversity: One of the biggest advantages of having a bachelorette party that involves a limousine, quite frankly, is the diversity aspect! . A limousine, after all, is basically a party on wheels and t! herefore even if you happen to get tired of the interior of the limousine you can always just go ahead and make sure that the New York City sights and sounds are part of your bachelorette party. There are loads of people that end up combining a limo party with a night on the town and in the course of one night of a bachelorette party they might end up visiting a half dozen different bars and nightclubs.

Cost: Believe it or not, some of the limousine parties within the city of New York can actually be cost effective! While limousines are generally expensive to hire, when you compare the cost of having a party in a limousine and cruising around town to what you would pay if you just took a cab, you will find that the cost is actually not that different; especially with rising cab fares. And when you add in all the extra fun that you'll have because of the limousine, you can see how it might actually be a better deal to go for the limousine party.

These are just three of! the many reasons as to why New York City bachelorette limousine parties are great and indeed why they might be right for you. There is no dearth of companies in the area that will help you figure out if a limo party might be right for you, so go ahead and get in touch with one of them now.

Museums to visit when you travel to StockholmBy: Robb Stark, Posted On: 2007-10-02

When you travel to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, you shouldn't miss its wonderful selections of museums and other cultural sights. Stockholm is an old city, with plenty of historic landmarks. It's not all about historic museums how ever; there are many other interesting places to visit as well. If you have a few days over, you could easily spend your time at any or all of these museums.

The Royal Castle

While already at the castle, one shouldn't miss...

The Royal Armory
Filled with actual clothing from famous royalties of Sweden, the royal armory is very interesting for those interested in medieval times. The medieval museum

Another beautiful castle is...
The Drottningholm Palace

Located some 20 kilomet! ers outs ide Stockholm city, this is where the Swedish royalties actually live. While you can't visit their part of the palace, you can visit other parts of the building. This palace is known for its extraordinary garden, as well as its spectacular architecture. A summer walk in the garden is a very relaxing experience, eventually leading you to...
The Chinese Pavilion

Built by King Adolf Fredrik in the midst of the 18th century, this pavilion now is considered an UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is located right beside the Drottningholm Palace.

For those not interested in history, there are several other museums more focused on; Art, Culture, Children, animals, nature or even maritime navigation. The number of museums makes it impossible to cover them all, but the most noticeable are;

Just across the road from Cosmonova and the museum of natural history you will find...

The Botanic Garden of Bergius

For those who love flowers, plants and herbs, this botanical garden is a must. The famous Victoria house is known for the world's largest water lily, but the variation of herbs and plants are absolute world class.

Galicia - A Successful Marriage between the Old and the New

Galicia - A Successful Marriage between the Old and the NewBy: stephenmorgan, Posted On: 2007-09-28

Northern Spain and Galicia particularly has long been an undiscovered jewel in the whole of the Spanish tourism industry. All over Northern Spain the climate is much more moderate than the rest of the Iberian Peninsula and the autonomous regions that make up this area of the country have exactly what it takes to help visiting tourists have a good time.

With regards to Galicia you have a region where you have a rugged coastline with ex! tremely attractive sandy beaches whilst inland the mountainous regions provide a completely different experience for the visitor.

Of all of the autonomous regions of Spain it is understandable given its location that Galicia is considered the most remote. Galicia is a region of contrasts in that in the one extreme you have a rugged beautiful coastline mixed with gorgeous beaches whilst inland you have beautiful mountain scenery.

As well as beautiful scenery in Galicia you have excellent cuisine especially the seafood whilst at the same time you have right on your doorstep one of the most visited religious pilgrimage sites in the world at Santiago de Compostela. This particular pilgrimage site has actually generated a vast tourist industry all of its own that is vital to the economic viability of the region.

The Galicians, whose origins are Celtic, are fiercely proud of their culture and language.

Historically, always classed as the poorer cousi! n to some of the other richer regions Galicia had an economy t! hat did not easily lend itself to modernisation. It absorbed little in the way of outside influence being fiercely resistant to all forms of outside intervention, was never conquered by the Moors, and in the Middle Ages fell under the control of the kingdom of Asturias. Apart from a brief interlude in the 11th and 10th centuries when Galicia fell briefly under the rule of the kingdom of Asturias, Galicia has always been an independent region.

One of the problems with Galicia as with some of the other remote communities in Western Europe lies within its geographical constraints. As with a lot of the major Celtic communities in Western Europe after a while the major industry became emigration.

Thankfully slowly throughout the 20th century Galicia has begun to develop a way in which to manage the traditional lifestyles with a modern community to ensure that none of its rich history is lost.

The port cities of and Corunna which are widely appreciated to be centres o! f culture and industry within Galicia. As befits a province that has such reliance on the sea, the seafood here is amongst the best in Spain and fishing is vital to the economy.

As well as the major ports the coastline of Galicia is dotted with tiny little fishing villages. The coast which was devastated by the damage caused by the 2002 sinking of the oil tanker Prestige has now by almost recovered and in some cases is almost better than ever.

The major geographical point on the Galician coastline is probably Cape Finisterre which is the westernmost part of the Spanish mainland. Inland the region is dotted with ancient Celtic settlements which can be found in the often mist shrouded hillsides. At road junctions and in towns throughout the region stand various old stone crosses and in the villages old stone granaries are quite commonplace.

The whole Celtic culture in Galicia is completed by the sound of the favourite instrument of Galicia, the bag pip! es and their language, Gallego, is an amalgam almost of Portug! uese and the various other Gaelic tongues and there is an extremely strong link between Galicia and some of the other Celtic Countries of North Western Europe.

Again this love of the arts and culture is very similar with other Celtic regions. This is further exemplified with the slight theme of melancholy running through quite often the words and music of the region. For those who find this a concept difficult to understand and view it as being purely depressing and boring then you have to try and understand the traditional background to the entire region and realize the centuries of hardship that these communities have had to withstand and as a result have manifested themselves in their traditional words music.

DWVC's Tips on Holiday Travel and VacationBy: dwvc, Posted On: 2007-09-29

With our years or experience in the travel business, we have developed an essential travel and vacation guide which we are sure you will find useful to help you to get the most out of your holidays.

Everyone dreams of the perfect holiday, however, it's often the case that, in reality, our experience does not live up to the vacation we had hoped for. That is why we wanted to pass on important tips that you may find helpful in acquiring accurate information about your possible destinatio! ns - as this can be the difference between having an OK trip or a fantastic holiday.
During your planning stage, think about other vacations that you've experienced and the things that you most enjoyed about them. If luxury and comfort are important to you, then you are unlikely to enjoy a "back to basics" trekking-style holiday. Understand what your basic requirements are, and build your holiday around these.

If you are traveling in a group, then take into account the tastes of the rest of the party. It's not going to be an enjoyable trip if some members of the party are "out of their comfort zone". Of course, the well known saying "You can't please all of the people all of the time" is true, but a consensus of agreement at the start of a group trip will make for a more pleasant experience for everyone.
Traveling to a poor country does not necessarily mean that everything there will be cheap - premium goods imported into poorer countries are often more expens! ive than where they are readily available. Of course, if you "! go where the locals go" you can often get great value for money and tremendously enhance your experience by savouring the real essence of the place you are visiting. However, security and feasibility of access will not always make this possible and therefore prior knowledge of the prices in your resort complex or accommodation will help you to budget accordingly.

A vital tool to consider during your vacation is the mode of transportation. Some people just "want to get there", whilst others want to enjoy the journey. Some people like to experience every inch of their journey and see different places along the way. If time is not a primary factor, it is always worth investigating alternative routes to your destination as this may add tremendously to your overall holiday enjoyment. Traveling by train can be both comfortable and tremendously interesting as you may discover places that you had never dreamed existed! It is worthwhile, however, to check the ticket prices and accommo! dation prices along the way in advance of your trip.

Regardless of the type of transport that you choose, there will inevitably be times when boredom sets in - especially for the younger traveler! So it's a good idea to be prepared to keep your children busy with activities during the trip and keep them entertained without wearing yourself out. Bring, CD players, coloring books, hand-held game consoles, books that interests them or even iPods. This ensures that everybody will enjoy the entire trip without hearing "are we there yet?" too many times!
Many of your travel plans may coincide with major holidays, such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, or Easter. One useful holiday tip if you're going to be traveling is to try to avoid traveling when everyone else is - even by just a few days. This holiday tip can save you a lot of headache and potentially more expense. If you depart earlier or later than everyone else you can save money on plane tickets and have a more comfor! table journey, and if you prefer driving, avoiding heavy traff! ic will save you petrol, time and stress.

We hope that you will find the above tips useful in the planning of our holiday - we believe that employing just a few of them can make a big difference to the enjoyment of your precious vacation time.
